Hi you guys,
As I mentioned a while back the move was planned weeks ago, yet always something happened. Well, now we’ve done it. Still this is not the domain name move I was mentioning but to a new free blog server. Sorry guys but business is low :P.
Anyway… starting on Monday 08.02.2010 we are on blogspot.com… I found it more useful and now I’ve made the move.
Step by step all the old posts will be moved there also, but for now you can read the latest 100 posts plus a few new ones.
So, the new address is http://twilight-s-news.blogspot.com/ learn it, bookmark it, share it… eh… you know what to do with it… Use it and abuse it…
Ah… there’s a poll there that I hope you’ll take a look at and maybe even vote on it… Please do so. It would mean the world to me…
Thank you guys!
The leader of the Quileute Nation in northwest Washington first began hearing her tribe had a role in the popular “Twilight Saga” from fans clamoring to know more about the place where a vampire tale of teenage love unfolds.
Some fans sent e-mails. The most dedicated among them made trips to the remote reservation that is home to the series’ heartthrob werewolf Jacob Black.
“The interest in our tribe was a surprise, a good surprise,” tribal Chairwoman Anna Rose Counsell-Geyer said. “I thought to myself, people are going to actually get to know the Quileute and we are going to be recognized as a people. The real Quileute.”
That was a couple of years ago. With “Eclipse,” the series’ third movie in theaters now, the 750-member Quileute Nation is reveling in the “Twilight” spotlight, attempting to capitalize on the blockbuster’s massive financial pull and welcoming new interest in the tribe’s culture.
At their Oceanside Resort, the tribe is opening a cabin decorated in a wolf theme, a shout out to Jacob and the Quileute’s own origin story, which begins with a transformation from wolves to people.
“The U.S. album chart is finally heating up after a lengthy lackluster spell, with the latest “Twilight” soundtrack set to lead a trio of notable newcomers next week.
“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is going up against Christina Aguilera’s first studio release in nearly four years and the latest EP from the cast of the Fox TV show “Glee.”
Industry prognosticators think “Eclipse” will likely debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with possibly as much as 140,000 to 160,000 copies sold by week’s end on June 13. The last “Twilight” release, “New Moon,” was released on a Friday and sold 115,000 in just three days, debuting at No. 2. In its first full week, it sold 153,000 and moved up to No. 1.
Sources also predict that the “Glee” album, “Journey to Regionals,” might sell around 110,000 to 130,000 while Aguilera’s “Bionic” could move 100,000 to 120,000 copies.”

With sales of the first two Twilight soundtracks at 3.6 million copies, it’s no surprise some 400 songs were submitted for the third set by artists eager to hop on a hot franchise.

Producer Alexandra Patsavas pruned the heap to 15 congruous originals that admirably maintain a dignified creative independence while conveying the gray, swoony tones of Stephenie Meyer’s teen vampire romance. In other words, indie-rock snobs can buy the CD without fear of social stigma.
First single Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) finds Muse, in its third Twilight appearance, waxing melodramatic on Queenesque prog-rock. Florence + The Machine’s Heavy in Your Arms follows the tale’s pounding heartbeat with similar theatrics. The Dead Weather goes spare on the bluesy, menacing Rolling in on a Burning Tire. Eastern Conference Champions’ A Million Miles an Hour also revels in creepiness, as does the beat-driven Let’s Get Lost, a spacey duet by Beck and Bat for Lashes’ Natasha Khan.
A hypnotic vibe cloaks UNKLE’s With You in My Head, Sia’s frail My Love and Howard Shore’s lovely Jacob’s Theme. Jolts from Fanfarlo’s jaunty Atlas to The Bravery’s propulsive Ours prevent Eclipse from lapsing into a dark lullaby. And while the folky Life on Earth sounds like a New Age celebration of dawn, Band of Horses seems at home in this stable of night crawlers. — Edna Gundersen
