Hi you guys,

Step by step all the old posts will be moved there also, but for now you can read the latest 100 posts plus a few new ones.
So, the new address is http://twilight-s-news.blogspot.com/ learn it, bookmark it, share it… eh… you know what to do with it… Use it and abuse it…
Ah… there’s a poll there that I hope you’ll take a look at and maybe even vote on it… Please do so. It would mean the world to me…
Thank you guys!
Jodelle Ferland is creating buzz as Bree Tanner in Eclipse, you know, the #1 movie in the country that we’ve all seen at least twice now. We caught up with the 15-year-old, who confessed she’s on Team Edward “most of the time,” on the phone last month and discovered that not only did she read all the Twilight books back-to-back, but she signed on for the role of Bree without even reading the script! We also asked her about her plans for the Eclipse premiere black carpet.
“Oh yeah, I have a dress ready,” she told us before the premiere. “And I’m very excited for it. I always like to have a dress in my closet that I can just pull out in case of an emergency. I bought a dress a while ago and I’m pretty sure I don’t have anything else I’ll need a fancy dress for before the premiere so that could be what I’m wearing. It’s a pretty light color.”
Not sure if the dress in the photo above is the light-colored dress she was talking about, it’s light underneath the black lace, or if she switched dresses at the last minute. Keep reading for more of our Q&A with Jodelle and let us know what you thought of her Eclipse performance in the comments. Too bad she got killed in the movie, but maybe Summit will make a movie of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner (someone start an online petition).
Before letting you read the article, I feel the need to tell you a little about me.
I’m a 20-something young woman, whose main interests until a few months ago were going to school, working, friends, having a great relationship and being as mature as possible. I thought my life was good, if not the best. Who knew that things could get more interesting, that life could get better?
When I first saw “Twilight” and then “New Moon” I had now idea of the phenomena that “Twilight” really was, moreover I had no clue that it had so many fans, so without knowing anything about it, I become a fan. And day after day, I become more and more in love with it, with all of it: books, movies, characters, cast, everything.
Now my main interests are: friends, school and work, my boyfriend and being mature, and “Twilight”.
Still, there are not few the ones that think my passion for a movie, for a book is childish or insane and due to this there are few people who I share my thoughts about the matter. I talk to friends about all sorts of things but never “Twilight”. My boyfriend and my BFF are the only ones that support me and even though we don’t see eye to eye they do an effort. Nevertheless there are still plenty of moments when I’m truly ashamed about my passion.
After reading this article I’ll do my best to not be anymore. Because no one should be ashamed of what they’re passionate about.
- favorite scenes:
- sex talk (funny as hell)
- tent scene (funny but tense)
- new-born army fighting (exactly how I pictured it in my mind while reading “The Twiligh Saga: Eclipse” and “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner”; the breaking effect was super cool)
- Bella and Jacob’s kiss (I know that Team Edward fans will all hate me, but I found it much more sensual than any other kiss from this particular movie)
- graduation scene (it really was emotional and I loved the way the parents were presented <Charlie and Carlisle>)
- training scene (no comment, just great)
- Bella hitting Jake (looked perfect)
- favorite characters:
- Rosalie and her story where great but could have been better
- The Cold One – fabulous
- Jasper and his back story great, great great… Just loved it!!!
- Edward’s new look is great
- Charlie looked better than ever in “Eclipse”
- loved Riley
LITTLE, BROWN BOOKS FOR YOUNG READERS ANNOUNCES OVER ONE MILLION COPIES SOLD IN THE US OF STEPHENIE MEYER’S THE SHORT SECOND LIFE OF BREE TANNER OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS ALREADY RAISED FOR THE AMERICAN RED CROSS INTERNATIONAL RESPONSE FUND !
Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, a division of Hachette Book Group, has announced today that it has sold over one million copies of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: an Eclipse Novella by Stephenie Meyer. The novella, released on June 5th, has already become the biggest selling new book of the year so far. As previously announced, one dollar for each book sold in the US from the first printing is being donated to the American Red Cross International Response Fund* resulting in a donation of over one million dollars to the American Red Cross to date.
“The generosity of Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, Stephenie Meyer and the one million fans who purchased the novella is both awe inspiring and humbling,” said David Meltzer, senior vice president of international services with the American Red Cross. “Their collective support will help the American Red Cross respond to international crises, prevent life-threatening diseases, prepare for disasters overseas and provide support to help those in need around the world.”
Since its release, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner has dominated bestseller lists both in the US and around the world. The novella, the first new work from Meyer in nearly two years, debuted at #1 on the USA Today, Wall Street Journal and IndieBound bestseller lists as well as bestseller lists in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and the UK.
With the arrival of “Eclipse” in movie theaters – the third installment of the popular “Twilight” series – it’s time to sink your teeth into the world of vampires, werewolves and glistening. If you haven’t been seduced by the pop-cultural prowess of the book series and subsequent films, this A-to-Z primer should bring you up to speed.
Today I surfed the Internet mainly on Romanian websites to see what my compatriots have to say about the release of Eclipse on July 2nd, and I found that many of the websites are awaiting impatiently for the third installment of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga.
Here are some of the print screens of their eagerness:
For a better understanting of the print screens read the title of each photo.
According to Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood:
“Publisher Little, Brown tells me Stephenie Meyer’s novella “for the fans” has sold 226,589 copies so far in the UK. Waterstones, the largest bookshop chain, expects it to be the biggest-selling book of the year.
The £11:99 ($17.8) Twilight novella is mostly selling at less than half price, mostly due to heavy supermarket discounting. What’s remarkable is that you can read The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner for free on Meyer’s website until midnight on July 5.”

This is pretty amazing for a novella rather than a full-length novel, not to mention one that you can also get for free!
