Kristen Stewart Almost Passed On “Twilight”
When first introduced to “Twilight,” Kristen Stewart was reportedly not interested in playing the part of Bella, the role that made her an internationally famous movie star.
Having never read the original Stephanie Meyer book, Stewart was originally given a mere synopsis of the adapted screenplay. According to Flecking Reports, Stewart “wasn’t impressed” with the synopsis, and found the story to be “shallow and not very believable.”
However, Stewart was then given a copy of the full screenplay and ended up enraptured by the story and the plight of Bella. As we all know, she finally agreed to play the role – and the rest, as they say, is movie history.
